The QT Hotel and Resort located in Surfer’s Paradise is one of the Gold Coast’s most prominent boutique hotels – The luxurious brand offers bespoke and one-of-a-kind accommodation, unparalleled customer service, as well as unique and stylish entertaining spaces.  Since 2019, QT Hotel has been undergoing multiple renovations, with upgrades to the rooftop pool-side entertainment precinct and various guest rooms, among other spaces.  Throughout 2021, we were approached by Event Hospitality to re-design a new concept for the renovations to the existing kitchen, which soon lead to T&H carrying out the complete re-design and construct for the project.  The new space that we designed for the client features an elevated preparation space overlooking the hot kitchen, innovative industry technology, as well as state-of-the-art commercial food-service equipment from the likes of Comcater, Cyberchill and Hobart, to name a few.  The original kitchen floor plan didn’t provide the chefs with enough space for efficient user functionality – With extensive planning and the integration of an open floor plan, this reconfigured space now provides the user with organic circulation and operational flow.
