Water-Jet Cutting

We were engaged by UAP to collaborate on the ‘Vault of Heaven’ project that was designed and created by the esteemed Australian artist, Lindy Lee.  This was not the first time T&H have worked alongside UAP and Lindy Lee, so we were very excited to be a part of this public artwork installation in the popular corporate location of 60 Martin Place.  We were commissioned by UAP to water-jet cut the soaring 17-metre tall stainless steel art-piece, to be installed within the Civic Room of the Investa building.  As stated by Lee, “while this gesture is heroic and monumental in scale, the aesthetic or feeling should be one of ‘intimate immensity’ – Grand, and sublime but not alienating.”
